UPVC JIS Pipe Product Overview
UPVC JIS pipes are manufactured from premium polyvinyl chloride resin, compliant with Japanese JIS K6741 standards. With nominal outer diameters ranging from 15 to 300mm, operating temperatures from -10°C to 60°C, and pressure ratings of 1.0-2.0MPa, these pipes are suitable for fluid conveyance applications while offering weather resistance and stability.
Advantages and Features of UPVC JIS Piping
This piping resists most acidic and alkaline media (excluding concentrated oxidizing acids), with water absorption ≤0.1%. It features a low hydraulic friction coefficient of 0.008, smooth inner walls resistant to scaling, tensile strength ≥45MPa, impact strength ≥12kJ/m², and a service life exceeding 50 years with low maintenance costs.
Manufacturing Process of UPVC JIS Piping
Manufactured using UPVC resin with a polymerization degree of 1000-1500. Processed through high-speed mixing at 160-180°C, twin-screw extrusion at 170-190°C, vacuum sizing (precision ±0.3mm), spray cooling at 20-25°C, and packaged for shipment after passing online pressure testing (1.5 times nominal pressure).

Building Plumbing Industry: Used for indoor/outdoor water supply and drainage in buildings. Features strong corrosion resistance, low flow resistance, adaptability to various building layouts, and ensures stable operation of plumbing systems.
Municipal Pipeline Networks: Suitable for municipal rainwater and sewage conveyance. Excellent weather resistance and settlement resistance adapt to complex urban environments, extending pipeline network lifespan.
Electronics Manufacturing: Transports cleaning wastewater in electronic workshops. Resistant to chemical corrosion with no impurity leaching, meeting electronics industry cleanliness requirements to prevent equipment contamination.
Agricultural Irrigation Industry: Used for farmland and orchard irrigation. Resistant to aging and UV radiation (with UV stabilizers added), suitable for long-term outdoor use, reducing irrigation costs.
Chemical Auxiliary Industry: Conveys low-concentration chemical auxiliaries (≤60°C). Excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for auxiliary fluid transfer in chemical workshops, ensuring production safety.
Differences Between UPVC JIS Pipes and DIN/ASTM Standards
Compared to DIN/T 10002.1, JIS pipes feature tighter wall thickness tolerances (±0.2mm vs ±0.5mm) and 15% higher impact strength requirements. Compared to ASTM D1785, JIS pipes have a 5°C lower maximum temperature tolerance but superior weather resistance (10% higher strength retention after accelerated aging tests), making them better suited for East Asian climates.
