Product Overview
UPVC blind flanges (end caps) are manufactured from high-purity rigid polyvinyl chloride, compliant with GB/T 10002.2 standards. They accommodate diameters ranging from 20 to 250 mm, with sealing surface flatness tolerance ≤0.02 mm. The S6.3 series operates at pressures ≤2.0MPa and withstands temperatures from -10°C to 45°C. Specifically designed for sealing industrial pipeline ports, it prevents fluid leakage and contamination ingress.

Fitting Features
Compressive strength ≥50MPa, resistant to 20% sulfuric acid and 30% sodium hydroxide corrosion. Sealing surface features a curved transition design (radius ≥0.5mm), achieving 99.8% sealing efficiency with pipes. Oxygen index ≥40% meets flame-retardant B1 grade; weighs only 1/8th of steel plugs of equivalent specifications; complies with GB/T 17219 hygiene standards, odorless with no heavy metal leaching.

Manufacturing Process
Molded via single-cavity precision injection molding using UPVC resin with polymerization degree 1200-1600 (ensuring precise sealing surface accuracy). Injection temperature: 170-190°C; segmented cooling and setting at 22-26°C. Sealing surfaces undergo polishing (roughness Ra ≤ 0.8μm). Each batch undergoes sampling for 2.0 times nominal pressure hydrostatic testing (30-minute pressure retention with zero leakage). Dimensions are verified via caliper inspection (tolerance ±0.1mm) before packaging.

Connection Methods with Other Pipe Fittings
Primarily socket-welded. Before connection, roughen the sealing surface of the blind cap and the pipe end (insertion depth 5-10mm, adjust per diameter) with sandpaper to a roughness of Ra 1.6-3.2μm. After cleaning debris, evenly apply specialized UPVC adhesive (thickness 0.1-0.15mm) to both contact surfaces. Align and insert, then apply light pressure for 30 seconds. Allow 24 hours for complete curing to achieve a sealed connection. For temporary sealing, use a rubber gasket to enhance sealing performance.
