Product Overview
CPVC reducer straight connectors are manufactured from high-purity chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) in compliance with GB/T 18993.2 standards. They accommodate pipe diameters ranging from 20 to 110 mm (e.g., 20×16 mm, 32×25 mm), with a working pressure ≤1.6MPa and temperature resistance from -40°C to 90°C. The concentricity error is ≤0.1mm, enabling coaxial fluid transmission between CPVC pipes of different specifications.
Fitting Characteristics
Tensile strength ≥55MPa, impact strength ≥8kJ/m², resistant to 95% nitric acid and 20% sodium hydroxide corrosion; Internal fluid friction coefficient ≤0.018, connection seal leakage rate <1×10⁻⁶ Pa·m³/s; oxygen index ≥40% achieving B1 flame retardancy rating, weight only 1/6 of equivalent steel reducers, with no metal ion leaching.
Manufacturing Process
CPVC resin with polymerization degree ≥1000 is selected. Precision injection molding is performed using dual-color molds (simultaneous forming of different diameter sections) at 195-215°C injection temperature, followed by segmented cooling and setting at 25-35°C. Inner walls undergo smoothing treatment (roughness Ra ≤ 0.8μm). Each batch undergoes sampling for 1.8 times nominal pressure hydrostatic testing (30-minute pressure retention with no leakage). Dimensions meet ±0.03mm precision before packaging.
Application Scenarios
Chemical Fluid Conveyance: Connects CPVC chemical pipelines of varying specifications, enabling stable transmission of acidic/alkaline media at 1.6MPa pressure. Withstands temperatures from -40°C to 90°C, ensuring seamless transition between pipe diameters in chemical production.
Pharmaceutical Intermediate Transfer: Connects pharmaceutical pipelines of varying diameters. Complies with GB/T 17219 sanitary standards, prevents impurity leaching, and ensures clean transfer of pharmaceutical intermediates.
Electronic Ultra-Pure Water Systems: Facilitates diameter conversion in ultra-pure water pipelines. Features smooth inner walls with no dead corners to prevent water contamination, meeting the high-purity water transfer requirements of the electronics industry.
Electroplating Wastewater Treatment: Connects CPVC waste pipelines of varying specifications. Resists strong corrosion with leak-proof sealing, facilitating smooth fluid transition in electroplating wastewater treatment systems.
Industrial Hot/Cold Water Systems: Used for diameter transitions in industrial hot/cold water pipelines. Temperature resistance adapts to operational conditions, ensuring stable pressure and efficient, safe hot/cold water transmission.
Usage Precautions
Before installation, verify port diameters match pipe specifications and remove burrs from ports. Apply CPVC-specific adhesive (0.1-0.2mm thickness) when connecting to pipes, ensuring coaxial alignment. Do not use above 90°C or 1.6MPa. Inspect joint seals every 8 months during long-term use. Avoid direct stress on fittings to prevent pipe deformation affecting flow.
