Product Overview
CPVC pipe fittings with external threaded connections are manufactured from high-purity chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) as the base material, conforming to GB/T 18993.2 standards. Nominal diameters range from 20 to 110 mm. with thread precision meeting GB/T 7307 (55° non-sealing pipe threads). Operating pressure ≤1.6MPa, sealing surface flatness tolerance ≤0.02mm. Enables precise connection between CPVC pipes and metal internal threaded components for reliable transition joints.
Fitting Features
Features a composite structure of “CPVC base material + 304 stainless steel threaded insert,” with tensile strength ≥50MPa and impact strength ≥9kJ/m². Operates stably in environments from -40°C to 90°C, withstands corrosion from 95% nitric acid and 20% sodium hydroxide. Thread roughness Ra ≤ 1.6μm, achieving 99.5% sealing rate with metal fittings; flame retardant with an oxygen index ≥40%; weighs only 1/5 of equivalent steel joints, offering lightweight durability.
Manufacturing Process
CPVC resin with polymerization degree ≥1000 is selected. 304 stainless steel threaded inserts with precision tolerance of ±0.03mm are pre-placed in molds. Precision injection molding is performed at 195-215°C. The thread roots feature ≥1mm radius transition structures. After segmented cooling and setting at 25-35°C, each fitting undergoes a 1.5x nominal pressure hydrostatic test (maintaining pressure for 30 minutes without leakage). Threads pass go/no-go gauge inspection before packaging.
Application Scenarios
Chemical Industry: Connects CPVC chemical pipes to metal valves, withstands acid/alkali corrosion, ensures reliable sealing at 1.6MPa pressure, and provides stable material transition in chemical fluid transport systems.
Pharmaceutical Industry: Used for connecting pharmaceutical intermediate transport pipelines to metal equipment, meets GB/T 17219 hygiene standards, prevents medium contamination, and safeguards clean and safe pharmaceutical production.
Electronics Industry: Compatible with electronic chemical circulating water systems, connecting CPVC pipes to metal heat exchangers. Resists chemical corrosion with low fluid resistance, meeting electronic component cooling requirements.
Electroplating Industry: Connects electroplating waste liquid treatment pipes to metal pump bodies. Resists strong corrosion from waste liquids with threaded seals preventing leakage, supporting stable operation of electroplating wastewater treatment systems.
Industrial Water Supply: Used for connecting industrial hot/cold water pipes to metal faucets. Operates stably from -40°C to 90°C with 1.6MPa pressure resistance, enabling seamless transitions in industrial water pipelines.
Usage Precautions
Inspect thread integrity before installation; remove surface burrs and impurities. When connecting to metal fittings, wrap 3-5 turns of 0.1-0.2mm thick sealing tape. Control torque at 8-15 N·m (adjust based on pipe diameter) to avoid over-tightening. Do not use above 90°C or 1.6MPa pressure. Avoid striking threaded areas. Regularly inspect joint sealing integrity; replace or reseal immediately if leakage occurs.
