CPVC Pipe Fittings Blind Flanges (End Caps) are manufactured from high-purity chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) in compliance with GB/T 18993.2 standards. Available in nominal diameters ranging from 20 to 110 mm, with a working pressure ≤1.6MPa and sealing surface flatness tolerance ≤0.02mm. They are designed to seal matching CPVC pipe ends, with a temperature resistance range of -40°C to 90°C, ensuring reliable temporary or permanent sealing for piping systems.
Fitting Characteristics
Compressive strength ≥60MPa, impact resistance ≥9kJ/m², withstands corrosion from 95% nitric acid and 30% sodium hydroxide solutions. Sealing leakage rate <1×10⁻⁶Pa·m³/s, oxygen index ≥40% achieving B1 flame retardant rating. Weighs only 1/5 of steel plugs of equivalent specifications. Features a smooth, impurity-free inner wall with no metal ion leaching, eliminating loosening risks post-installation.
Manufacturing Process
Utilizes CPVC resin with polymerization degree ≥1000, precision injection molded at 195-215°C. Sealing surfaces undergo mirror polishing (roughness Ra ≤0.8μm). Segmented cooling and setting at 25-35°C. Each batch undergoes sampling for 1.8 times nominal pressure hydrostatic testing (30-minute pressure retention with zero leakage). Dimensions verified via caliper inspection (±0.03mm tolerance) before packaging.

Electroplating Waste Liquid Treatment: Seals standby ports in CPVC waste liquid pipelines. Resists strong corrosion with leak-proof sealing to prevent waste liquid seepage, supporting stable electroplating wastewater treatment systems.
Construction Industrial Piping: Used for temporary sealing during CPVC industrial piping installation in buildings. Withstands temperatures from -40°C to 90°C, preventing impurities from entering pipes during construction and affecting subsequent use.
Usage Precautions
Before installation, inspect the sealing surface for flatness and remove surface dust and burrs. Apply CPVC-specific sealing compound (0.1-0.2mm thickness) when connecting to pipes to ensure tight adhesion. Do not use above 90°C or 1.6MPa. For long-term sealing, inspect the seal condition every 6 months and replace immediately if aging is detected. Avoid forceful prying during removal to prevent damage to pipe ports.
