Product Overview
CPVC 45-degree elbows are manufactured from high-purity chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) in compliance with GB/T 18993.2 standards. They accommodate pipe diameters ranging from 20 to 160 mm with an angular tolerance of ±0.3°. operating pressure ≤1.6MPa, temperature resistance -40°C to 90°C, inner wall curvature radius to pipe diameter ratio 1:1.2, enabling smooth 45° pipe system turns with concentricity error ≤0.05mm.
Fitting Characteristics
Tensile strength ≥50MPa, impact strength ≥9kJ/m², resistant to 95% nitric acid and 20% sodium hydroxide corrosion;
Inner wall roughness Ra ≤1.0μm, fluid resistance reduced by 28% compared to steel 45° elbows of same specification; Oxygen index ≥40% achieving B1 flame retardant rating; weight only 1/6 of steel elbows; no metal ion leaching; hygienic compliance with GB/T 17219.
Manufacturing Process
Utilizes CPVC resin with polymerization degree ≥1000, molded via single-shot injection using custom dual-cavity molds (precisely controlling 45° curvature). Injection temperature: 195-215°C. segmented cooling at 25-35°C for shaping; mirror-smooth inner wall finish; each batch undergoes sampling for 1.8 times nominal pressure hydrostatic testing (30-minute pressure retention with zero leakage); dimensional accuracy verified via laser inspection (±0.1mm tolerance) before packaging.
Application Scenarios
Chemical Fluid Conveyance: Used for 45° turns in chemical acid/alkali pipelines. Corrosion-resistant and stable under 1.6MPa pressure. Low-resistance design reduces energy consumption during medium transport, ensuring continuous chemical production.
Pharmaceutical Clean Piping: Connects turning sections in pharmaceutical intermediate transfer pipelines. Meets hygiene standards with no impurity leaching, preventing contamination and complying with pharmaceutical clean production requirements.
Electronic Ultra-Pure Water Systems: Facilitates smooth 45° transitions in ultra-pure water pipelines. Features a seamless inner surface with no dead corners to prevent secondary water contamination, meeting the high-purity water transmission standards of the electronics industry.
Electroplating Wastewater Treatment: Connects turning points in electroplating waste liquid pipelines. Resists strong corrosion with excellent sealing properties to eliminate leaks, supporting the safe and efficient operation of wastewater treatment systems.
Industrial Hot/Cold Water Piping: Used for 45° turns in hot/cold water pipelines. Operates stably from -40°C to 90°C with pressure-rated compliance, ensuring smooth fluid transfer.
Usage Precautions
Before installation, inspect port flatness and inner wall cleanliness; remove burrs and impurities. Use specialized CPVC adhesive for pipe bonding. Apply adhesive evenly (0.1-0.2mm thickness) to bonding surfaces, let stand 5-10 seconds before joining. Do not exceed operating temperatures (>90°C) or pressures (>1.6MPa). Avoid impact on the curved section of the elbow. Inspect joint integrity quarterly. Replace or re-bond immediately if leakage occurs.
